Haiti H2O is not currently taking teams to Haiti
I heard and I forgot.
I saw and I remembered.
I experienced and I understood.
Mission Exchange Teams change lives—
your life and the lives of the Haitians you will work alongside.
Equipping your team
Haiti H2O prepares teams for a cross-cultural experience that we hope will lead to a long-term partnership between your community and the people of rural Haiti.
Staff from Haiti H2O will meet with your team to prepare you to walk alongside the materially poor in a way that affirms dignity in a cross-cultural context. Along with practicing Creole language skills, you will be challenged to examine your motives and assumptions about helping those in need. Your team will be prepared for a relational exchange based on mutual respect and an attitude of humility—ready to serve as well as be served.
Typical trip schedule
Day 1 — Travel to Haiti, stay overnight in Guest House near airport in Port au Prince
Day 2 — Travel to Community and meet pastor and leaders
Day 3–6 — Community visitation, work projects, worship at Church
Day 7 — Travel back to Guest House
Day 8 — Travel back to U.S.
Joining a Mission Exchange Team will not just be a stamp in your passport, but a chance to slow down and walk alongside our brothers and sisters in Haiti. It is an opportunity to listen respectfully, learn from each other, and love one another.
