Lenord calls himself the “basket man” because of his trademark craft in weaving baskets from dried plant material. But he is so much more—he is a valued partner of Haiti H2O, accompanying our staff as they visit our partner communities.

Lenord is a dedicated husband, father, and businessman who also serves as a mentor to many. He teaches the art of basket weaving, enabling others to support themselves and their families. Additionally, he employs these artisans to create baskets at his business.

At this time, we are low on our basket supplies and will only be selling them in person at the St. Nicholas Night Market on December 8, 2024 from 5-8 pm. The market will be at Church of the Ascension, 4729 Ellsworth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
